Autoloading Popups

When setting up a pop-up that is supposed to open when a website visitor clicks on a button or menu item, it actually failed to open every now and then. The reason for this behaviour is that the pop-up’s “targeting” settings to ensure that the pop-up loads on the correct page have not been updated properly.

Popup Maker now tries to auto-load enabled popups that it thinks are intended to be used on that page. For example, if you have a button in a post that should open a popup, Popup Maker will then try to load the popup even if you didnโ€™t set the targeting.

To ensure this doesnโ€™t affect performance, Popup Maker cannot scan everything on all pages you should continue to use the targeting settings as normal. This new feature, however, will act as a helpful fail-safe in case you have missed to set a targeting condition.
