Publer: New Client Role for Social Media Approvals & Internal Notes
The folks at Publer have just introduced a new client role along with a new approval system for workspaces to their powerful social media management platform. Shortly afterwards, they introduced an internal notes feature.
New Client Role & Approval System
If you’re a freelancer or marketing agency, and you’re using the platform to manage your clients’ social media rather than your own, the new client role in Publer is very useful.
Client is a new dedicated role for collaborating on social media management with external users. It grants access only to authorized features, for example, you can allow admins and clients to add (their) social accounts to your workspaces and post from there.
In addition, Publer has also worked on a new approval system in Workspace that involves two different levels of approval: Your internal team and the client. They have added three post approval access levels and permissions, including Should be approved by Admin/Owner, Should be approved by Client and Full Posting Access.
Internal Notes
As the name suggests, internal notes allow you to communicate with other members of the workspace by leaving feedback in the form of comments on specific posts inside Publer.
How does it work? Just type in your comment, mention a team member using the @ sign if necessary, and hit send. This way everyone stays on the same page about the content you’re creating in Publer!
Of course, you have complete control over the feedback you give, as each member can only edit or delete their own notes.
Mobile Calender View
Publer has also just released a calendar view for its app, giving you a bird’s eye view of past and future posts on a monthly, weekly or daily basis.
