SEOPress Rolls Out Google & Bing Instant Indexing

SEOPress just announced version 5.4 of their WordPress SEO plugin, introducing a new Google and Bing instant indexing feature which is even available in the free version. Lastly, they improved redirections in SEOPress Pro.

Google & Bing Instant Indexing

For starters, you can submit up to 100 URLs at a time to the Google and Bing search engines to get your content indexed faster. We are talking about hours and minutes here, not weeks and days. However, this should not be understood as a replacement for the Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools or even your XML sitemap, but as a supplement.

Note that the number of requests is currently limited to 200 per day for Google and 10,000 per day for Bing.

In version 5.5, SEOPress improved usability by saving all instant indexing settings after clicking the Submit URLs button. They have also added a new option to automatically ping the IndexNow API when a post, page or post type is published, updated or deleted.

Better Redirect Manager

Using redirections with SEOPress Pro has never been easier as there is no more mixing between redirects and 404 errors. By default, only the following redirects are now displayed: 301, 302, 307, 410 and 451. 404 Errors, All and Categories can now be accessed via new filters at the top.

In addition, you can now bulk enable or disable regular expressions on redirects.
