SEOPress Adds Pre-Published Checks for WordPress Block Editor
Benjamin from SEOPress has just announced the release of version 7.3 of their SEO plugin for WordPress, introducing pre-published checks for the Block Editor, an optimized HTML sitemap, and more.
Pre-Published Checks
When publishing with the Block Editor, SEOPress will now tell you if it complies with the following four important SEO points:
- A custom meta title has been set,
- A custom meta description has been set,
- Your post content is at least 300 words long, and
- Your content is NOT set to noindex.
This way, you can have a quick check of the most important points before publishing your post.
Optimized HTML Sitemap
The SEOPress team has released a new option that allows you to choose whether or not to display posts and products by categories or product categories when displaying the HTML Sitemap.
To change this option, head over to SEO > XML / HTML Sitemap Settings > HTML Sitemap.
What’s More?
Also, SEOPress now excludes many post types used by page builders such as Elementor, Beaver Builder, Brizy, Zion Builder, Breakdance and Oxygen from automatic redirection suggestions.
