Spectra Announces Slider Block & Global Block Styles

Shortly after the release of the Modal block, the Spectra team has announced an upcoming new Slider block along with new global block styles for their visual website builder for WordPress.

Although sliders have a bad reputation with many users, they are still popular with some and may even make sense. Think about logo sliders or a video slider with compact thumbnails below, for example. When a visitor clicks on it, they are taken directly to the slide with the corresponding video and the video is played automatically. Spectra’s new Slider block lets you create sliders of any size and with any content, hence the name Slider for Anything.

You can add the following content to your slides:

Also, sliders don’t have to be large parts of your WordPress site that take up the entire width. They can be as wide as you like and be anywhere on your page, not just in the Hero on the home page.
