Streamline Launches New Neon Icon Set With a Duotone Style
Vincent from Streamline has just announced the release of a new Neon icon set with a duotone style as well as some more free open source icon sets.
New Neon Icon Set
Neon is a new duotone variation based on Streamline’s basic Line icons. It uses two different colours to effectively draw attention to key elements within each icon, ensuring clarity and emphasis even at small sizes.
This style is available in four different families, offering a wide range of personalities depending on whether you need neutral (Core), elegant (Flex), brutal (Sharp) or friendly (Plump) icons.
The duotone Neon style now comes with a total of 16,000 icons.
The two-colour scheme helps distinguish primary from secondary elements, making these icons particularly effective in complex environments where quick recognition and hierarchy are essential.
They can be used to highlight important actions, states or functions within an interface.
New Open Source Icon Sets
Streamline has also released a number of new open source sets, including Ionic and Flagpack. You can access these open source icons from the Streamline web app, the Figma and Lucid plugins, and the desktop app for Mac.
