SureCart Introduces Manual Orders & Strong Passwords
Adam from SureCart has just announced version 2.4 of the ecommerce plugin for WordPress, introducing manual orders, strong password enforcement, and more.
Manual Orders
SureCart now allows you to create manual orders. This means that you can create orders on behalf of your customers directly from the admin.
For example, if a customer calls you, meets you in person or sends you an email to place their order, you can now create a manual order. There’s no checkout process involved. Just enter the customer’s details, add the products they want to buy and (optionally) offer discounts or wholesale prices.
For the payment side of things, you have the following options:
- Manual Payment Methods: You can collect payment using manual payment methods such as cash on delivery (COD), cheques and more.
- Stripe Debit: If the customer’s card details are stored in Stripe, you can charge the order amount directly to their card.
- Payable Invoice (coming soon): Soon you will be able to send your customers an invoice that can be securely paid via a checkout link.
Of course, you can find manual orders on the Orders page.
Whatโs More?
SureCart has also improved the product page display. The selected price now shows payment intervals, fees and trials. There is also a new option in the advanced settings to enable strong password requirements.
Finally, you can now change the wording of the secure notice under each checkout form, or even remove it completely.
