Voxel Now Supports Shipping
Arian from Voxel has just announced version 1.7.2 of their dynamic WordPress theme for Elementor. This new version introduces a new shipping feature for platforms or marketplaces.
New Shipping Feature

Voxel 1.7.2 introduces a powerful shipping module that transforms Voxel-based marketplaces into fully fledged e-commerce platforms. This module offers configurable shipping methods, classes, zones, and rates per product type. This gives directory and marketplace owners far more control over how physical products are priced, fulfilled, and delivered, without leaving the Voxel ecosystem.
What the new shipping feature does

The new shipping system lets you enable shipping at the product‑type level, so only relevant products require a shipping configuration. Once enabled, you can define how shipping is calculated and displayed for that specific product type, keeping digital and physical offerings cleanly separated.
This makes it possible to run hybrid platforms where, for example, services and bookings have no shipping, while physical items from vendors or local businesses include clear shipping costs in the checkout flow. The feature is designed to support directory‑style marketplaces as well as more classic e‑commerce catalogs built on Voxel.
Configuring shipping in Voxel

Shipping is controlled in the WordPress backend under Product types, where you can edit each type and toggle the Shipping module on or off. Once active, the product type exposes extra configuration options dedicated to shipping behavior and customer experience.
From there, site owners can fine‑tune how shipping appears on product forms and orders, aligning it with taxes, pricing logic, and any other e‑commerce rules already configured in Voxel. This modular approach keeps the interface focused and avoids cluttering non‑shippable offers with unnecessary fields.
How does this support marketplaces?

For multi‑vendor or directory marketplaces, the new shipping feature fills a critical gap for physical products. Vendors can now list tangible items with appropriate shipping expectations, which improves transparency and reduces support friction around delivery costs.
Combined with Voxel’s existing Stripe Connect integration, tax collection and marketplace tools, this turns Voxel into a more complete solution for platforms that sell both services and goods. It also helps site owners keep all key commerce logic inside Voxel rather than relying on external plugins for basic shipping needs.
