Aurelio from WP Umbrella has just released the new Alerting Center for its WordPress management and maintenance platform. It’s an innovative feature that keeps you informed about the health and security of your site through real-time alerts via Slack and email.

With the new Alering Center Now, you’ll receive instant email or Slack alerts for your WordPress sites when any of the following issues occur:

• Downtime: Get instant notification if your site goes offline.
• Uptime: Receive alerts when your site is back online.
• Plugin Vulnerabilities: Receive alerts when vulnerabilities are discovered in your site’s plugins.
• Theme Vulnerabilities: Stay informed about vulnerabilities in your site’s themes.
• WordPress Core Vulnerabilities: Find out if there’s a vulnerability in the WordPress version of your site.
• Backup Ready: Receive a notification when your requested backup is ready for download.
• Restoration Status: Receive updates on whether a site restoration is successful or has failed.

Breeze Compatibility

WP Umbrella has added cache clearing compatibility with the Breeze caching plugin. This update allows for more efficient management of your site’s cache, ensuring that your site remains fast and responsive by effectively clearing outdated cache files after a plugin update or installation.

What’s next?

WP Umbrella will be working on the new Team Member feature and a new communication protocol to keep your sites in perfect sync with the platform.

After that, the uptime/performance monitoring will get a facelift and visual regression monitoring will be introduced, which is the final piece before they unveil their safe update feature.
