WP Umbrella Launches Security Monitoring & ManageWP Migration

As we also announced in The Pier #14, WP Umbrella has just released the long-awaited security monitoring feature and ManageWP migration for its WordPress management and maintenance tool.

The new security monitoring feature scans your sites four times a day (every six hours) to identify any vulnerabilities in the WordPress core, plugins and themes.

Like all the other features you get with WP Umbrella, security monitoring is included in your plan. However, you may wish to consider its hourly backup add-on for an additional fee.

Powered by Patchstack, WP Umbrella monitors 365/24/7:

  • Plugin Vulnerabilities
  • Theme Vulnerabilities
  • SSL Certificate Issues
  • WordPress Version
  • PHP Version
  • Inactive Plugins & Themes
  • WP_DEBUG Status

Note that they have decided not to include a malware scanner, as they believe this is an issue better addressed at the server level.

No more sleepless nights worrying about vulnerabilities or security issues. Get WP Umbrella today!

ManageWP Migration

In other news, itโ€™s now possible to migrate all your WordPress sites from ManageWP to WP Umbrella in just a few clicks. When it’s done, they’ll schedule your backups and make sure the first ones work flawlessly.
