Recipe Card Blocks 2.0

Food bloggers can now sleep in peace as WPZOOM released an awesome new version of their free recipe plugin that works perfectly with Gutenberg and helps with styling your delicious recipes. Created with Foodica and Cookely in mind, the plugin works with any WordPress theme though. However, we recommend to check out their popular food blog theme. You wonโ€™t be disappointed!

Check out the features:

  • New Block with Schema.org Markup: Recipe Card Block
  • Use a single block to create a recipe card
  • JSON-LD Schema Markup
  • 2 Recipe Card Styles
  • New Settings Page (Settings > WPZOOM Recipe Card)
  • Add Images in Recipe Directions

The new Schema block helps you highlight your recipes in the search results with rich snippets.

Existing recipe cards created with the previous version will still be working, as the Ingredients and Directions Blocks are still part of the plugin.

They have interesting plans for the future including a pro version with even more advanced features. Stay tuned!
