New Zealand-based Joobi is pretty popular when it comes to e-commerce, email marketing and customer (help desk, contact management & visitor tracking) extensions for Joomla. After months of hard work they have recently announced that almost all Joobi applications except jNews are now compatible with WordPress. Isn’t that great news? Soon they’ll release a new newsletter plugin for WordPress to replace jNews.

Here comes yet another good news: Should you ever decide to move from Joomla to WordPress or vice versa, you can simply export export the Joobi database and import it to your WP site. As to the pricing and licensing, it will be the same for both Joomla and WordPress – at least for now. Joobi are providing a 30 day trial and all products can be installed on an unlimited number of domains. VIP support is only available for one site though.
By the way, in case of any price increases for WordPress plugins, existing customers will be grandfathered in the old prices.
