DigitalOcean: Multiple Droplet Create Feature & API Tagging

The DigitalOcean team has been working hard behind the scenes to improve the deployment and management of your droplets. The new “Multiple Droplet Create” feature now allows you to launch up to 10 droplets in just a few clicks or via a simple API call.

Also they have extended their API to support droplet tagging. Combined with configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, Salt, and Ansible, it’s a great way for inventorying and automating your systems.

Later this year, DigitalOcean will release a block storage service which allows to attach expandable storage to your droplet. Also their first Indian data center will be launched in Bangalore.
