Fonts.com Introduces Subscription-Free Web Font Licensing

Previously, Fonts.com has only been offering the Monotype Library Subscription. However, they are no longer offering this subscription but introduced a subscription-free web font licensing.

Web Font Licensing

Commitment-free, worry-free webfont licensing is now available on Fonts.com. Web fonts allow you to embed fonts into a websites by using the @font-face rule. You can choose from tons of various web fonts including classics such as Neue Helvetica and Avenir Next or trending web fonts like Proxima Nova and Foundry Sterling. Check out their sister site MyFonts for even more fonts to choose from.

Fonts.com offers two types of web font licenses:

  • Pay Once Purchase a monthly pageview allowance for your web fonts. If you exceed the number of pageviews, simply buy additional monthly pageviews.
  • Pay As You Go Purchase prepaid pageviews that can be used over time. Once used up, you can easily buy new prepaid pageviews packages.

Note that a separate license is required for using fonts with mobile apps or digital ads.
