Monotype Acquires Santi Rey Type Foundry

Following the recent acquisition of the Paulo Goode type foundry, Monotype continues its shopping spree with the acquisition of the Santi Rey type foundry.

Santi Rey’s current catalogue includes a total of eight typefaces, including Moneta Sans, an elegant transitional sans serif with high contrast, and Britanica, an extremely versatile family inspired by the neo-grotesque typefaces of the 20th century. Another beautiful typeface is Gazpacho, which is ideal for display purposes such as logos and large, bold headlines.
