Brand Reports

You can now report on product sales by brand. You can even segment products and variations by brand. As usual, you can export this data as a CSV file. For WooCommerce stores, they’ve integrated with the official WooCommerce Brands plugin. For Shopify stores, this is built-in by default as Vendors.

Combined with their existing COGS/profit function, you can even view COGS, profit and margin by brand.

Sales taxes are a pain both as a customer and as an e-commerce business. But still, you can make life a little easier for yourself with tax reports. You can now see sales grouped by tax rate codes and tax rate labels from the revenue report. They have also added some filters to the orders page so you can segment orders by tax rate code and tax rate label.

In other news, they are currently working on a new COGS/Profit system built right into Metorik. This will allow you to configure and report on product costs, order costs, shipping costs, payment gateway costs, and more directly in Metorik. Later this year you will able to send out broadcasts and bulk emails to your customer segments via Engage.
