Pier #41 – Rockbase, CookieYes, Affinity, PMPro 3.0 & FluentBoards

Ahoi.dev

Hi there,

Welcome to the 41st issue of The Pier. This week we came across Rockbase, a new modern, customizable and lightweight block-based WordPress theme for creative professionals by Chris Hufnagel and Rafal Tomal. It comes with more than 100 hand-crafted patters such as pricing tables, social proof, and header and footer sections. Launch promo ends on March 31, 2024.

Canva has also announced the acquisition of Affinity. With Affinity Photo, Designer and Publisher, it’s a popular alternative to Adobe. Will they go the subscription route? Not for now, according to the official statement of Ashley Hewson, CEO of Serif, the company behind the Affinity Suite.

We would also like to welcome CookieYes to The Port.

Here is a selection of the latest and greatest blog posts we published this week on Ahoi.dev. You will also find some interesting industry news, the latest directory listings on The Port, job openings, and deals. Enjoy!

🤙 Better Stack Uptime Reporting

Better Stack has introduced brand-new reporting and analytics for Uptime. Currently in beta, it comes with 25 beautiful pre-built reports based on monitors, incidents, alerts, on-call, teams and status pages.

For example, you can now see your uptime per monitor over a period of time, summarize incident metrics such as MTTR or MTTA, or find out how much time each person spent on-call.
