Flexible Approval Workflow

Planable recently launched a big upgrade to their approval workflow and made it entirely flexible. You are now able to choose anything from no approvals needed at all to complex multi-step processes. The latter makes it relatively easy to prevent unwanted content from being published.

Hereโ€™s how multi-level approvals work:

  • When selecting this option, you can set multiple levels of reviews
  • You can assign one or more collaborators to each level. Just one approval is enough to complete each step. You can also add a name to each level to properly group your approvers such as Internal, Team, Client, and Final Sign Off.
  • You can now also manually notify approvers when content is ready to be reviewed by requesting their approval
  • You can also lock content editing after approval, to prevent further alterations before publishing

In other news, Planable added a new time-saving team management option to invite collaborators via a short link. Simply create a link that will grant access at the specified permission level to anyone who opens the link. A few months ago, they improved their mobile apps now allowing you to create posts while on the go.

PS: In May 2020, Planable shipped the core part of their brand new media library that allows you to upload all your brand creatives such as images, gifs or videos to your workspace. Uploaded files in posts will automatically be added to the media library. These assets can then be used in posts by your team members.
