SEOPress Now With Mail / Slack Alerts, GPT-4o & Google Consent Mode v2
Benjamin from SEOPress has just announced the release of version 7.8 of their SEO plugin for WordPress, introducing mail / Slack alerts, GPT-4o and Google Consent Mode v2.
New Features
What’s new in SEOPress 7.8? Let’s find out!
- SEO Alerts by Mail & Slack:
SEOPress Pro checks the following three critical points for your SEO twice a day and notifies you by email and/or Slack to anticipate a possible drop in traffic / positioning in search engines: Alert if noindex on homepage, Alert if robots.txt is not loaded and Alert if XML Sitemap index failed to load. - GPT-4o:
Since SEOPress PRO is already compatible with GPT-4o, you can enable it in the plugin settings under SEO > PRO > AI, which will automatically generate better meta titles, descriptions and alternative texts for your images. - Google Consent Mode v2:
SEOPress now sends user consent to Google when a user clicks on the Accept button or the Close/Decline Cookies button in our cookie bar, helping your WordPress site to comply with the new Google policies added to comply with GDPR.
In other news, SEOPress now allows you to choose which image size to use when sharing posts on LinkedIn. You can also validate your site for the Baidu Webmaster Tools by adding the required metadata to your source code.
