Spaces Engine for BuddyBoss Announces Space Card Enhancements & End of LTD

Ben and his team are on a mission to make Spaces Engine the best directory solution for BuddyBoss communities. And they are really heading in a very good direction! Having just released an integration with The Events Calendar and Custom Tabs, they have now announced Space Card enhancements. Also, as of tomorrow, they are no longer offering lifetime licenses. There are less than 24 hours left!

Better Space Cards

Check out the following enhancements they’re working on right now:

• Spaces Cards: Meet redesigned archive index cards.
• Featured Gold Icon: Indicates a featured space (located in the top position).
• Promoted Silver Icon: Indicates a promoted space (located below Gold).

• Verified Badge: Admins can mark a space as ‘Verified’ to increase trust.
• New Category & Icon: Categories are now visible on space cards along with a relevant icon.
• New Quick View/Preview Icon: Opens a modal in which all the important space details are displayed on the index page, without having to visit the single space page. In phase 2, it will include a map.

• New Header Option: The new Full Header also shows the long description in the header. This option is recommended for BuddyBoss App users.
• Engagement Enhancements: New option to use custom icons for ‘Follow’, ‘Love’, etc. Members can now engage with a space directly from the archive page.
• Open/Closed Status: New badge indicating opened or closed based on the working hours of the space settings.
• Reviews Rating: The average review rating will be displayed on the space card.
• Spaces System helps with debugging.
• Contact a Space: You can now send a message to a Space directly from an index card.
• CTA Bar: They added an option to globally disable the call-to-action buttons bar.

This update will make Spaces Engine even more flexible and scalable. Next will be a native WP Job Manager Integration. Stay tuned!

New WP Job Manager Integration

Speaking of, Spaces Engine finally released a native integration with WP Job Manager just before Black Friday.

They have seamlessly integrated WP Job Manager into a Space tab where you can access job listings, the dashboard, and job applications. Of course, you can also easily publish new jobs and hire new employees.
