Usetiful Releases Offset Positioning For Hotspot Beacons

The folks over at Usetiful just introduced offset positioning for hotspot beacons, support for Google Analytics, better product tour previews, and more to their no-code digital adoption platform.

Hotspot beacons are a great way to grab users’ attention, for example during user onboarding or to point out new features. But what if their automatic placement is above your texts?

With the new offset setting, you can now adjust the placement of hotspot beacons both horizontally and vertically to make sure they don’t get in the way!

Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager Integration

Google Analytics
Trigger Event Step ยฉUsetiful

Usetiful has just announced an integration with Google Analytics. This allows you to analyse the performance of your product tours in relation to other activities of your users on your website.

With the step type “Trigger Event” you can define a custom event that Usetiful will publish when a user reaches the step.

The new Google Tag Manager integration allows you to lauch third-party scripts as part of your Product Tour flow.

Improved Product Tour Previews

Usetiful made some improvements to product tour previews which allow you to simulate how your users interact with product tours. A button that takes you to a “different tour” now also works in the preview. If you click on it, the preview of a second tour is automatically started so that you can really test the whole flow.

Especially handy for longer tours: Usetiful now saves you time by allowing you to start the preview at a specific step.

Are you previewing a page that already has Usetiful installed with live content? The preview now hides all live content so you only see what you explicitly want to see in the preview.
