Tyche Softwares: Abandoned Cart Pro for WooCommerce With New Add To Cart Modal
Tyche Softwares have just announced a major update to their popular Abandoned Cart Pro extension for WooCommerce. Version 6.0 introduces an Add to Cart modal with customization options and statistics.
Add To Cart Modal
This new feature allows you to capture the email addresses of guest users early in the order process right from the shop or product pages. Once a not-logged-in user clicks on the Add to Cart button, he or she will be prompted with the modal asking for an email address.

- Customization of text & colours
- Email address field: Mandatory or optional
- Live popup preview (via Vue.js)
- Email address entered in the modal will automatically be populated in the corresponding field at checkout
- Statistics with conversion rate
If customers have not finished the checkout process, you will thus still have a pretty good chance to turn this abandoned cart into a successful sale. Simply send them a follow-up email which can include a coupon code for instance.
As with every (major) update, Tyche Softwares is recommending to thoroughly test the updates version on a staging site first. Please note that this release is scheduled to be released on 16th August 2017.
