WPML: ACF Multilingual 2.0 Now With One-Step Multilingual Setup

The WPML team has recently released ACF Multilingual 2.0 for their WordPress multilingual plugin, introducing a one-step multilingual setup, an improved translation workflow, and more.

In version 2.0, WPML has completely revamped the user interface of ACF Multilingual (ACFML). Let’s take a closer look at the new features and improvements.

• One-Step Multilingual Setup:
  You no longer need to set the translation preferences for each of your custom fields individually. Now you can configure translation preferences for custom fields in a single step. Simply choose between two preset translation options for each of your Advanced Custom Fields field groups. ACFML will then take care of all the translation settings for you!
• Better Field Label Translation Workflow:
  With ACFML 2.0, translating field labels and choices has never been easier! You can now translate labels directly in your post content using the Advanced Translation Editor. You can also use String Translation to find any label and translate it there.

Finally, WPML has made some improvements to the user interface and user experience. ACFML now guides you step-by-step through translating an ACF-powered WordPress site.
