Advanced Ads just released Tracking 2.0, a must-have add-on for their popular WordPress (banner) ad management plugin. It allows you to improve your ad set by providing valuable insights into ad clicks and impressions.

Tracking 2.0

Tracking 2.0 is Advanced Ads’ biggest rewrite project to date and makes impression and click numbers much more reliable than before.

Check out some of the major changes:

• Much faster and more reliable default tracking method
• Fixed tracking such as Google Analytics on AMP pages
• Enabling click-tracking for ads that include a link such as AdSense or custom HTML
• More bots are blocked from being tracked

What happens after updating to version 2.0? Well, the number of tracked impressions or clicks may change after the update. You might see more impressions, e.g. if you use AMP. Or fewer, as more bots are filtered out. If you want to find out more about where and when impressions and clicks are tracked, you can enable debug mode for a while.

After successfully finishing the public beta phase, they will release the update in batches over the coming weeks. However, All Access customers can already download it manually from their account. So what are you waiting for?
