BackupBuddy 6.3 with Improved Amazon S3 Support
The BackupBuddy plugin by iThemes has just landed in version 6.3 with a new remote backup destination for Amazon S3 v2 along with loads of new features and improvements. With this update you will be able to backup, move, clone or deploy your WordPress sites a hell of a lot easier.
The new Amazon S3 v2 remote destination is more reliable when it comes to transfering big files, faster, uses less memory usage on your server and is also supporting new S3 regions. However, PHP 5.3 or higher is required.
BackupBuddy, Plugin Suite and Toolkit members will get access to BackupBuddy 6.3 right from within their WordPress dashboard or via a manual download from the iThemes member panel. Also you can update BackupBuddy on all your sites from your Sync dashboard.
