Barn2 Releases Free Easy Post Types & Fields

The Barn2 developers, very well known for such popular WordPress and WooCommerce plugins as Product Table, Fast Cart and Document Library Pro, have just released the free Easy Post Types and Fields plugin.

As the name suggests, Easy Post Types and Fields allows you to easily create custom post types, custom fields, and custom taxonomies.

Unlike other (excellent) competing custom post type plugins, it‘s not characterised by feature bloat and a steep learning curve. In addition, it’s 100% free of charge!

For example, you can add fields to:

• WooCommerce products
• The Events Calendar events
• Your own custom post types
• Custom post types created by your WordPress theme, e.g. testimonial or portfolio
• And any other third-party post type

The plugin only lets you create and manage data in the WordPress admin, but it does not allow you to display any data on the frontend. However, with Barn2’s Posts Table Pro plugin you can display a custom post type, fields and taxonomies in an interactive table on the frontend.

Check out the following use cases:

• Create custom post types such as articles, audio or case studies and display them in a searchable table.
• Add extra custom fields and taxonomies to document libraries, for example publishing year or publisher.
