The BuddyBoss team is currently working on a bunch of new, cool features that are scheduled to be released later this month. This includes an option to crop profile and group photos, Elementor Widgets for LifterLMS, and more.

Upcoming New Features

• Crop Photos
  You will be able to crop both profile and group photos.
• Elementor Widgets for LifterLMS
  Similar to LearnDash, they will also be adding Elementor widgets for LifterLMS.
• Better Notification Dropdowns
  User will be able to mark notifications as read right in the notification dropdown without having to go to the notifications page.
• Profile Action Buttons
  They will introduce the ability to re-order the profile action buttons.
• Elementor Plug & Play Sites
  They will add two plug & play sites for Elementor with more coming in the next months.

They are currently working on support for Zoom webinars, private Zoom meeting links, and the ability to edit activity comments. In one of the future releases they will also implement an option to control access levels and permissions based on a user’s membership level, user role, profile type, and Gamipress achievements.

Finally, BuddyBoss announced the BuddyBoss app that will allow you to launch a native iOS and Android mobile app on your own app store accounts. Stay tuned for more details to be released next month.
