Bunny.net Closes $6M Series A Funding Round
A few days ago, bunny.net announced a $6 million Series A funding round led by Runa Capital, a global venture capital firm based in Luxembourg, and Capital Genetics from Slovenia.
Series A Round
Bunny.net aims to improve the Internet by helping developers from around the world provide better performance, security and reliability.
Next, we are taking the core CDN product and building on top of it to replace the legacy centralized cloud systems with a developer focused edge-cloud platform to help you build, accelerate, secure, and run the next generation of web applications right next to their users.
Dejan Grofelnik Pelzel, Founder & CEO of bunny.net
The funds will be used for:
- Completely redesigned control panel
- New innovative products & features
- Even better performance
- Improved platform stability
- Top-notch customer support
- Better documentation
Ahoi.dev is also powered by Bunny CDN. Especially in terms of customer support, nothing can really be improved from our point of view. After updating WordPress, the Blocksy theme and all plugins, no featured images were delivered by the CDN. With the help of support from both Creative Themes and bunny.net, the issue was quickly identified and solved.
What’s More?
Back in July, bunny.net took global web performance to a whole new level with the launch of a new, ultra-fast SSD-based storage. With 15 regions worldwide and up to 83%+ lower global TTFB, Bunny Storage can now run the next generation of web applications at unprecedented speeds.
Lastly, they have expanded Bunny Storage to two new regions, including Sao Paulo in Brazil and Johannesburg in South Africa.
