Butter: New Session Engagement Analytics, 16:9 Video Format & Recording Trimming

Chris from Butter has just announced new session engagement analytics, a 16:9 video format and recording trimming for its video conferencing platform for workshops, training, and meetings.

Engagement Analytics

Butter’s new Engagement Analytics allows you to easily measure activity and engagement in your sessions, adapt and improve your facilitation skills. Engagement statistics are available both live in session and in your recap.

Check out the benefits:

  • Includes both session analytics and individual attendee metrics.
  • Multiple visuals, such as talk time distribution and activity charts, give you a complete picture of your session’s engagement.
  • The drop zone graph shows you exactly when attendees are joining and leaving.
  • Detailed video statistics and feedback ratings.

Recording Trimming & Improved Summaries for Recaps

By popular demand, the Butter team has added the ability to trim the recording directly in the platform to make it easier to share clean recordings with your participants. In any recap, you can now trim your recording to cut out the random discussions that happen at the beginning and end of your sessions!

Of course, when you trim your recording, the corresponding parts of the transcript are also cut! They have also improved the quality of the summaries and added a rating option.

They have also decided to move to a 16:9 video format to give you a wider canvas to showcase dynamic and engaging professional content. The new 16:9 format is great for those of you using OBS, eCamm or other green screen tools!
