Descript Now With Parametric EQ & Video Progress Bars

Descript just announced a parametric EQ effect, video progress bars, custom branding, and more for their audio/video editing tool.

New Features

• Parametric EQ Effect
  In addition to their 10-band graphic EQ, Descript now has a 5-band parametric EQ effect. Parametric EQs are great when you need more precise control over sculpting your sound.
• Progress Bar Clips
  Due to popular demand from users who create videos to share on social media, you can now add burned-in progress bars to your videos.
• Custom Branding
  Descript Pro and Enterprise license owners can now use their drive name and logo instead of Descript’s on published pages and embeds, keeping all their Descript-made content and pages on-brand.
• Pause Screen Recordings On macOS
  MacOS users can now pause and resume screen and camera recordings from the recording dock.

On the Mac, the screen recorder timer and stop button have been moved from the menu bar to a dock on the side of the screen where it should be easier to use. If you don’t like the dock showing up in your recordings, you can set it to auto-hide in the screen recorder preferences.
