DigitalOcean Now Supports Google Pay

DigitalOcean has just announced that its cloud computing platform now supports Google Pay as a payment option. They also improved load balancers, the App Platform, and more.

New Features

Check out all the new features and improvements from this month:

  • You can now use Google Pay as a stored payment method when creating a DigitalOcean account and for recurring payments. Support for Chromium-based browsers such ad Chrome, Brave, and Microsoft Edge only.
  • You can now resize Load Balancers once per minute, instead of once per hour. The cost is prorated based on how long the load balancer operates at each size, with a minimum charge of $0.01.
  • All DigitalOcean databases now support App Platform apps as trusted sources, including MongoDB.
  • App Platform now supports rolling back an app to a previous deployment for Basic and Professional tier apps.

Lastly, Rocky Linux 8.5 x64 (rockylinux-8-x64) base image is now available in the control panel and via the API.
