DigitalOcean Introduces Premium CPU-Optimized Droplets
DigitalOcean has just introduced new premium CPU-optimized droplets to its cloud computing platform which are designed for reliable performance and high network throughput.
New Premium CPU-Optimized Droplets
Premium CPU-Optimized Droplets are virtual machines powered by some of the latest generations of Intel® Xeon® processors. They feature up to 10Gbps outbound data speeds, superfast NVMe SSD storage, and dedicated vCPUs.
The new droplets deliver up to a 58% increase in single-core performance, five times faster outbound network speeds, and 290% faster disk writes compared to regular CPU-optimized droplets.
In addition, they also make effective worker nodes in DigitalOcean Kubernetes.
