Elementor Introduces Navigator For Easy Layout Management

Soon after the WooCommerce Builder, the Elementor team announced yet another new feature. Meet Navigator, a new tool for managing your entire page layout from one single place. It can improve the workflow of the WordPress page builder a lot.

Navigator

Basically, it’s a new panel that gives you an overview of your entire page in a condensed display. That comes in quite handy especially when dealing with long pages. You can switch between sections, columns, and widgets and easily move them around the page.

In addition, you can customize element names, use the Copy, Paste & Delete functionality and choose to hide elements from the editing screen to get more focus when you design. Note that hidden elements are still visible on page previews.

The Navigator can be customized in terms of height and width and can either be dragged anywhere on the page or pinned to the side of your screen. Also, its preferences are saved to your browser, so the position remains the same even for new pages.

Autocomplete URLs for internal linking
Option to show editing handles when hovering over element edit buttons
Debug Bar helps to understand why a template or theme file is loading, or whether they conflict with each other
