Meet The Whole New FluentBoards 2.0

Jewel from FluentBoards has just announced the release of FluentBoards 2.0. This new version of the project management plugin for WordPress comes with a shiny new UI and UX.

New Features

The FluentBoards team has completely overhauled the entire experience, including every screen, interaction and view. Here are the highlights:

• One Design Language: FluentBoards now looks and feels like it belongs to the same family as FluentCRM, Fluent Forms and the other products of the Fluent ecosystem.
• Dark Mode: You can now switch between light, dark and system themes directly from the top bar.
• A Dashboard That Keeps You Informed: Open FluentBoards and you can immediately see your boards, overdue tasks, completed work and recent activity. There’s no need to click around to figure out where things stand.
• Redesigned Task Experience: Tasks now open in a clean, full-screen view with next/previous navigation and a Markdown editor with slash commands. The layout is much calmer, too.
• AI: There is a new AI writing assistant for task descriptions, AI-generated subtasks, summaries and label and priority suggestions. For those experimenting with AI agents, they have added MCP tools for labels, stages and task queries. Your AI assistant can now work directly with your boards.
• Grown-Up Reports: The Overview, Tasks, Activity, Timesheet and Roadmap screens now have date filtering. You can finally see where work is piling up and how your team is spending its time.

In other news, FluentCRM can now automatically create boards in FluentBoards. For example, when a new client signs a deal in your CRM, an onboarding board is created from a template with ready-to-go tasks. Your marketing, sales and project execution teams can communicate with each other inside your own WordPress site.
