FluentCart Rolls Out Advanced Inventory Management

Following the recent addition of packaging support, Jewel from FluentCart has just added advanced inventory management to its e-commerce plugin for WordPress.

New Features

If you sell physical products, you’ll be interested to know that advanced inventory management is now available in FluentCart Pro. So, what’s new in FluentCart 1.3.22? Let’s take a look:

• Stock Bulk Update: Select multiple product variants at once, increase the stock value by a certain amount or enter an exact value, select a reason and apply it to all. There’s no need to click through variants one by one anymore.
• Full Activity Log: Every stock change is recorded. This includes both the old and new values, who made the change, when it was made, the reason for the change and an optional custom note.
• Dedicated Inventory Submenu: Available in he WP Admin right next to Products.
• Inventory API: There are endpoints for listing, updating and viewing adjustment history. Plus, a query-optimized stats endpoint that aggregates in SQL, ensuring it remains fast even with large online stores.

In other news, dimensions and weight now appear as a native Gutenberg block on the product page, in the checkout order summary and in order confirmation emails. The product page block recognizes variants, so the table updates instantly when shoppers switch between them.

Finally, FluentCart has introduced flexible weight tier ranges for shipping. You can now set non-contiguous weight tiers, such as 0–10 and 15–20, and inline validation will prevent any overlaps before saving.
