FluentCommunity Rolls Out Space Media Gallery & FluentPlayer Integration for Lessons

Jewel from FluentCommunity has released version 2.7.0 of the WordPress community plugin. New features include a space media gallery, FluentPlayer integration for lessons, and smarter moderation.

New Features

Here is a list of the latest changes in FluentCommunity 2.7.0:

• Space Media Gallery (Pro): Now, every space can have a clean Media tab that brings together all photos and videos in one browsable grid. No more digging through the feed!
• FluentPlayer for Lessons: You can now add a FluentPlayer video as the featured media for a lesson and link completion to it. Students must watch the video in order for the lesson to count as complete. Alternatively, you can set it to auto-complete when the video ends. Following the latest update, the player now supports Gumlet and Cloudflare.
• Smarter Moderation: Automatically flag a member’s posts for review once they have been reported by enough different people. It counts distinct reporters, so it cannot be gamed. You can also manually route a specific member’s posts to your review queue.
• Collapsible Sidebar (Pro): There’s more room to read and write. You can collapse the desktop sidebar with one click and this setting will be remembered across visits.
• Invite by Email (Pro): You can now add people directly via email. Existing members are added immediately. New community members receive an invitation.

In other news, FluentCommunity has introduced a new ‘Profile Headlines’ feature, allowing members to add a short line about themselves. This information is displayed in the directory, enabling people to connect at a glance.
