Fluent Support Rolls Out Automatic Ticket Closing
Fluent Support just introduced a new automation and productivity feature to their WordPress helpdesk plugin. Say hello to the brand new automatic ticket closing module.
Automatic Ticket Closing
The new automatic closing feature of Fluent Support allows you to specify which type of support tickets will be automatically closed based on inactivity data or tags.
To enable the feature, navigate to FluentSupport > Global Settings > Auto Close Settings.
You have several options to include or exclude tickets that should be closed automatically:
- Inactive days
- Don’t cose a ticket if a customer is still waiting for a response
- Filter by tags
- Close silently (without any email notification)
- Send custom response when closing support tickets
FluentSupport will check all the requests that match all the selected criteria and automatically close the ticket. This job runs hourly.
By the way, the helpdesk plugin for WordPress just released an agent support portal for the frontend, a new split ticket feature, and more.
