Groundhogg 3.0 Introduces New Email Editor

Adrian from Groundhogg has just announced a major update to its marketing automation and CRM plugin for WordPress. A brand new email editor is coming this fall with version 3.0!

This new email editor will enable small businesses everywhere to create beautiful emails that engage with subscribers. We think it’s the perfect balance of simplicity and customization.

The new email editor will soon replace Groundhogg’s advanced email editor and its WYSIWYG email editor. For existing customers, there is nothing to worry about as your emails will be automatically converted to blocks the first time you open the editor.

Let’s take a look at the upcoming new features and improvements:

• Updated Templates: Choose from Boxed, Full Width or Full Width Contained email templates and select background colours and content widths.
• New Columns: The New Columns block comes with 1, 2 and 3 column layouts of varying proportions to allow for more creative email layouts.
• Conditional Visibility: Limit the visibility of blocks in your emails using search filters and conditional logic.
• New Posts Block: Dynamically insert posts into your emails with multiple layout and query options!
• Improved Drag & Drop: The drag-and-drop functionality is easier to use and more accurate.
• Generated Plain Text: The generated plain text versions of emails are now perfectly formatted. You no longer need to create custom versions.
• Layout Settings: Use margin and padding settings for each block to create a pixel-perfect layout.
• Colours & Colour Palettes: Additional block colour controls allow you to be even more creative. You can also add your brand colours to the default colour palette.
• Custom CSS: Add custom CSS at the block level to add your own design elements.
• Copy & Paste: Copy and paste email blocks across emails and even across websites.

The Groundhogg team is still working on evergreen and date-based countdown timers, which will be available as a premium add-on, a new Products block for WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads, and reusable blocks. Stay tuned!
