Vikas from InstaWP has just announced support for WP-CLI, NPM, Composer and more commands for his one-click WordPress sandbox launcher platform. In addition, they have released Versions and a public API in beta.
InstaWP has just released a new feature Commands. It is a list of executable Linux-based commands that can easily be run remotely on one or more WordPress sites at once.
To add a command, simply go to the /commands menu in your InstaWP dashboard, click Add Command, type a name and enter the command you want to run. And don’t forget to save it.
In other news, InstaWP has also released Versions which allows you to save a snapshot of a running site and restore it at any point. This comes in quite handy if the site stops working after a plugin update for instance.
Note that this feature is available on the Pro plan and above.
Public API & Price Increase
You are now able to create sites, templates, and more using InstaWP‘s API which is currently in beta.
In addition, InstaWP will soon be increasing prices by at least 30%. If you are planning to upgrade your plan, now is a good time to do so before the price increase takes effect.
