Layers – A New Marketplace & End of An Exclusive Partnership
Back in May 2015 the developers of Layers announced that Envato is going to be the exclusive marketplace for all things Layers. However things change! Due to the huge success of their free WordPress site builder, it’s high time to test some changes to their business model, support and bundling options.
After months of talks, Envato and Layers mutually decided to end their exclusive arrangement. Thus WordPress themes and plugins developed by the Layers team, will now also be sold on their own site.

Whilst you can download Layers for free, you might be interested in the following popular paid extensions and themes for making your site even more beautiful.
- Layers Pro – Add must-have customization options to your site, e.g. colours, widgets, blog, header & footer
- Crafthouse – A WooCommerce theme for furniture stores
- Classroom – An education theme for kindergarten & middle schools
- DevKit – Add custom CSS & Javascript to the WordPress Customizer preview
- StoreKit – Add widgets, page controls & display options to WooCommerce
Please note that as of May 2016, Layers Pro is only sold on the Layers site and not on CodeCanyon anymore. Also, they have announced a new extension which is already in the works. Stay tuned!
