Managed Databases For MySQL

With Linode’s new Managed Database service, you can quickly set up a new database cluster and transfer maintenance tasks to them with minimal downtime.

Managed Databases Beta Details:

Available in all 11 Linode data centers
Add up to 3 nodes to your database cluster
Free during the beta period
Resources created will remain in your account until you delete them
You will be notified via a support ticket before payment begins

A managed database cluster can now be deployed using the Cloud Manager, API, or CLI. They are already working on extending the service to include PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB and more.
