Flexible Email Split Testing

Have you ever wondered which subject line would get the most opens or which copy of a link in your email would get the most clicks? With Mailcoach‘s latest split testing feature, there is no more guesswork. It’s really flexible and allows you to easily create two or more variations.

The process of sending your email campaign consists of two steps. In the test phase, Mailcoach sends emails with a random variant to a small percentage of your email list. After a customizable period of time, they start counting opens, clicks and unsubscribes for those emails sent. Mailcoach then picks the winner, aka the variant with the best metrics, and sends that variant to the rest of your email list.

In addition to the statistics for your entire email campaign, you’ll also see the statistics for each variant.

New Data Tables

Previously, all lists of data such as subscribers and campaigns were rendered using a simple custom component. In the latest release, Mailcoach has replaced this with Filament’s feature-rich Table Builder component. It comes with powerful new filters and search options that allow you to search for subscribers who have, for example, opened or clicked on a link in an email.

After filtering or manually selecting subscribers, you can add, edit or remove any tags using the new bulk actions.

In addition, you can not only create a segment based on subscribers’ tags, but you can also create a segment based on the subscribers’ tags.

MJML Support & More

Mailcoach has also added support for MJML, a fantastic responsive email framework developed by Mailjet, and Livewire 3, which makes the user interface interactive.

Finally, Mailcoach has introduced a new suppression list feature. As you can imagine, subscribers on this list will never receive an email. You can add subscribers to a suppression list manually. They will also automatically add an entry for each email address that hard bounces.

Note that all these features are available for both the hosted and self-hosted versions of Mailcoach. For users of the latter, you can upgrade to version 7, which is free for anyone with an active licence.
