MemberPress: 3 New Add-Ons For A Better Membership Site

MemberPress just rolled out three new add-ons for their WordPress membership plugin, including Membership Registration Restrictions, Cancel Override, and Account Nav Tabs add-ons.

Membership Registration Restrictions

With the new Membership Registration Restriction Add-on, you have full control over who can sign up for membership. You can restrict membership registrations based on the following four criteria:

• IP address
• Email domain
• Email address
• Age

You can even set a maximum limit for active registration for each of your memberships. This way, only a certain number of members can sign up.

Cancel Override

Previously, you could only add a cancellation link to your memberships that allows members to cancel their recurring subscriptions. The new Cancel Override feature automatically redirects members who wish to cancel to a custom landing page.

You can use it to reduce member churn by offering discounts, downgrades and free trial incentives on this page. You can also collect cancellation data by embedding a survey, e.g. via a WordPress form plugin.

Account Nav Tabs

With the new Account Nav Tabs add-on, you can easily add custom navigation tabs to the member account page.

For example, you can upsell premium restricted content, display a form, add a support page and offer downloads or a video library.
