Welcome to the 10th issue of The Pier. This week, Greenshift has jumped on the AI bandwagon with the release of Smart Code AI, a new plugin that allows you to create custom code directly in the WordPress editor. Powered by OpenAI (and your own OpenAI key), it’s currently in beta and will later be available for free on WordPress(dot)org.

We would also like to welcome Weglot to The Port.

WordPress: Code refactoring for ACPT 2.0 is almost complete, resulting in meta fields being handled in independent groups and a reduced plugin size. The UI has also been completely rewritten from scratch. Stay tuned for a release by the end of 2023.
WordPress: Mailster 4.0 will introduce two major new features to the email newsletter plugin, including block forms and a new automation workflow builder.
WordPress: Core Framework 1.2 introduces a new dark mode, visual preview of classes for the Bricks Builder add-on, and more.
WordPress Hosting: Platform InMotion combines a high-performance, purpose-built WordPress VPS with an easy-to-use dashboard.
Sales Funnels: Lightfunnels now allows you to seamlessly import your products from Shopify into the sales funnel platform.
Customer Support: MyAlice finally releases Gmail integration.
Final Cut Pro: MotionVFX updates mTuber 3 with new X social media logos and more than 10 new presets to help you create a YouTube channel that people will subscribe to.
Figma: Linguix now integrates seamlessly with Figma, providing real-time grammar and spell checking, and more.
Ecommerce: Swell release its new PayPal Commerce Platform integration, which also supports Braintree, Venmo, and AI fraud detection.
