Launch III: With Voxel Ads, you can now turn your Voxel-powered directory into an ad network. It comes with an AI banner generator, ads that live inside your feed, and tiered placements.

Launch IV: Reviso transforms WordPress into a powerful client feedback and collaboration tool. Users can leave feedback directly on your live pages without the need for logins. It’s also native to Bricks, Elementor and Gutenberg.

Launch V: Developed by Vova Anokhin, the creator of Shortcodes Ultimate, VovaBlocks is a new collection of essential Gutenberg blocks designed for landing pages, product pages, articles and more.

Launch VI: John from Fancy Bricks has launched the Fancy AI Chatbot, an AI-powered chat widget for WordPress which provides answers to your visitors using your real business information.

WordPress Security: Aurelio from WP Umbrella has released ‘The Complete WordPress Security Guide as a PDF, a previously gated resource on security. He claims that it is “the most complete WordPress security guide ever written”, created in collaboration with Patchstack.

AI Train: Elegant Themes has announced an upcoming powerful AI agent for Divi 5 that will enable you to create entire layouts from a reference image in just 30 seconds. It boasts over 200 other skills too. Just like a human, it works alongside you in the builder and can do everything you can. A beta version will soon be available. Watch this video to find out more.

Acquisition: Bending Spoons is set to acquire Airtable for $1.28 billion.

Milestone: To celebrate its sixth anniversary, FlyingPress is now included with every WordPress site hosted on FlyingHost.

👋 New: AI Image Generation in Klasio

With the new AI image generation feature in Klasio, there’s no need for a third-party tool whenever you require a course banner, product cover or lesson image. Simply generate them in the same place you’re already building your content — right inside the online course platform.

AI image generation has been integrated into the editors for your course, digital download and lesson descriptions. Type a prompt while writing and add the image without switching tabs.

Additionally, heading blocks in the builder now support text formatting. Make part of a heading bold, italic or underlined for more control over how it looks.

Finally, coaching programs now have a short description field on the setup page. Here, you can add a quick summary of what students can expect.

Interaction Library

👋 New: Interaction Library in Kirki

Kirki has released the all-new Interaction Library, which comes with eight animation types and ready-to-use presets. It’s the fastest and easiest way to add motion to your WordPress site. Simply select a pre-made interaction and customise a few options if you wish.

They have also added ready-made designs for Dynamic Pages and refined the Dynamic Content workflow to help you build even more quickly.

🗞️ Bites & Pieces

WordPress

FleekDash 2.6.3 introduces click-and-hold navigation to the sidebar. A normal click loads a screen inside the FleekDash window, while a long press opens the selected menu item in a new browser tab. It is possible to run classic WordPress and the FleekDash shell in separate tabs simultaneously. There is also an optional new setting that replaces the default wp-login.php screen with the FleekDash login design.

Unblock finally releases its intro video, which provides a quick tour of the features that Unblock offers for WordPress. These include full control over any page, whether you are styling it visually or writing real HTML, CSS and JS, as well as dynamic data and a built-in AI assistant. Everything is native to the editor — there’s no need for a page builder or any lock-in.

With the addition of Voxel support in Novamira Pro 1.8.2, your AI agent can now operate on a Voxel-powered (directory) site using specialized skills.

Voxel Toolkit 1.7.6 introduces an MCP Server, enabling you to connect Claude, Cursor, or Copilot directly to your website. You can ask it to add a field, create categories or find listings, and it will do the work for you. Post submission actions allow you to redirect a user to the new listing, send a welcome message or push the submission to an automation platform. These settings can be configured per Create Post widget, and each action can be applied to new posts only, edits only, or both.

With Kirki 6.2.1, you can now gain more control over how individual elements behave within flex layouts thanks to the new Flex Child option in the Sizing panel. Additionally, videos now automatically pause when they leave the viewport, providing a more polished browsing experience.

Building on the new Forms feature introduced in version 1.0.5, Mosaic 1.0.6 introduces the following form actions: webhooks, Mailchimp and MailerLite. There is also a new Google Maps element.

FluentSMTP 2.3.0 now supports Cloudflare Email Service and WP-CLI. It also adds connection health alerts and a real test suite.

The new Gated Content feature in Formidable Forms lets you easily lock a WordPress page, post, file or PDF behind a form submission. Once a buyer has submitted and paid, they will instantly receive a secure, single-use access link via email. Anyone without a valid token will be denied access. Page and post gating are available in the free version, while file downloads, PDF gating, link expiry and the access page are only available in the Pro version (video).

User Feedback

The Userback Mobile SDK now supports surveys in the same way as bug reports and feedback. Whether you want to send a quick NPS survey after checkout or a CSAT survey after a support interaction, you can now easily do so with Userback.

E-Commerce

Toolkit for SureCart 1.9 introduces a new reviews shortcode builder with live preview, new order logs to help you track important order activity, conditional visibility for product fields, purchase quantity limits with smart cart enforcement, and the ability to offer multiple downloads per product price in your SureCart-powered online store.

With Order Delivery Date Pro 12.19.1, you can now apply cut-off times to ‘ASAP’ deliveries. This feature gives customers realistic delivery estimates while helping your team to avoid late orders.

Donations & Fundraising

The beta version of SureDonation Pro is now available. It introduces recurring donations, a donor dashboard, PDF receipts, advanced campaign reports, integrations, and advanced form styling.

Affiliate Marketing

FluentAffiliate 1.6.0 introduces Captcha protection, custom registration fields and FluentCRM tag management.

CMP

SureCookie Pro 1.1.0 introduces a new behaviour called ‘Always Allowed’ (whitelisted), which applies to any script or embed on the Scripts and Embeds page. Select it for a resource that you rely on and that resource will continue to load before consent is given, while everything else will remain blocked. In other news, the Known Services library is fully unlocked with Pro. You can add all 150+ automated library services in the catalogue with one click, and their cookies will be declared in your cookie policy while their scripts and embeds will be blocked until consent is given.

Communities

Memberships and courses are now built into BuddyBoss. It’s a lightweight version of MemberPress, included free of charge with the Web Launch and Web Scale plans. New pricing plans are also available.

Customer Support

Following the BuddyBoss integration (see The Pier #162), Heroic Inbox introduces a new MemberPress integration. Simply open a support ticket and the sender will be matched to their MemberPress account, displaying their membership status, lifetime spend, active subscriptions with their next billing dates along with their ten most recent transactions. Any billing problems are highlighted at the top of the ticket as colour-coded alerts, enabling your team to spot failed payments or expiring cards before they have finished reading the message.

Laravel

The Laravel AI SDK adds a Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) API. Agents can now pause before running a sensitive tool, allowing a person to approve, reject or edit the call first.

Announced at Laracon US, Pest 5 adds test impact analysis, an agent plugin, evals and support for PHPStan and Rector to the PHP testing framework.

Log Management

Better Stack releases its new open-source Better Stack collector that makes it easy to connect to PostgreSQL or MySQL and open a pre-populated dashboard. You can then check your database health, debug and optimize the slowest queries, and track connections and queries per second. You can do all this without building anything yourself.

Directory SaaS

With Directify, you can now import listings from Google Maps. Search any niche in any city, preview real businesses straight from Google Maps and import the ones you want as listings, complete with addresses, phone numbers, websites, opening hours, map coordinates, photos and logos.

Appointment Booking

LatePoint Pro 1.6.4 adds coupon management abilities, allowing AI assistants and automation platforms to create, update, view, and list coupons.

Amelia 9.7 adds dedicated public event pages and an easier way to export and import your entire setup.

Events

With EventKoi 1.3.31.0, it is now possible to override the site time zone for an event. Select a time zone in the event’s date settings, and all dates for that event will be displayed in that time zone.

Social Media

ContentStudio introduces built-in Meta Ads analytics, bringing your main ad metrics together in one place. These include spend, reach, impressions, clicks, CPM, CPC, CTR and frequency.

With Nuelink, every new product you add to your Etsy shop can now be shared automatically across your social media (video).

K:Social, Klaviyo’s new social marketing solution, helps brands establish a connection between social engagement and growth on their own channels. With tools that can convert Instagram comments and direct messages into email, text message, or WhatsApp subscribers, K:Social enables brands to develop genuine customer relationships beyond likes and follows. Social engagement data can also be stored alongside purchase history, browsing behaviour and marketing activity in Klaviyo profiles, making it easier to segment, personalise and trigger more relevant customer journeys.

The new FeedHive analytics dashboard allows you to track views, engagement, comments and publishing activity across every channel. You can also compare formats and trends to create more informed new posts. Even better, the new analytics engine comes with a REST API. In other news, post conditions now work for X, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms.

WhatsApp Automation

The Pabbly Chatflow iOS app is now available, allowing you to manage your WhatsApp Business account on the go and stay connected with your customers. It is included with yearly and one-time plans for a limited time only.

Mail Mint introduces its new AI email engine, which will help you build your campaigns and automation workflows. Watch the sneak preview to find out more.

Composer is Klaviyo’s new AI marketing agent that helps marketers plan, build and execute campaigns from start to finish, with human review at every stage.
