Awesome Motive have been launching quite a few new products recently including WP Mail SMTP Pro, TrustPulse, and RafflePress. The last one is promoted as the “Best WordPress Giveaway Plugin”. We’ll have a close look to find out whether this is true or just a marketing phrase.

Setting up our first giveaway was a breeze really. Once published, however, we’ve been facing some issues such as a time zone bug. Apart from that, entry options have been cut off and the Facebook login with Safari only worked after refreshing the page. After reporting these issues to John, the founder and lead developer of SeedProd, they have all been fixed within a few hours. Thanks again for the friendly, top-notch support!

By the way, SeedProd has been offering a similar plugin called Viral Giveaway Pro in the past. After joining the Awesome Motive family back in October 2018, however, it has been revamped from scratch, improved, and relaunched as a separate brand.

So is it really the best giveaway plugin for WordPress? To be honest, we’re not sure as we didn’t have a chance to look at any other competing products yet. And now that we are a proud holder of a Lifetime license, there is actually no need for it anymore. However, we really love the fresh, modern look and feel as well as the rich set of features. The plugin is easy to use and a giveaway can be set up in literally no time. We’ll definitely use RafflePress for all our future giveaways and can recommend it wholeheartedly.
