Restrict Now Integrates With Easy Digital Downloads
Restrict, not to be confused with Restrict Content Pro, has just announced an integration with the Easy Digital Downloads plugin.
Restrict + EDD
Similarly to Restrict’s integrations with WooCommerce and Tickera, this brand-new integration now allows you to use criteria specific for Easy Digital Downloads to restrict content. You can (partially) restrict the content of pages and posts, restrict whole post categories and restrict visibility of menu items and widgets.
The integration uses two specific criteria for content restriction:
- Any Product
Restrict access to customers who purchased any Easy Digital Downloads product - Specific Product
Requires customers to purchase a specific EDD product in order to view the restricted content
If you use a specific product criteria, you can also limit the time after purchase during which the customer can access restricted content. For example, you can now sell not only the files but also access to your content. This comes in quite handy for all sorts of online course based projects.
