SEOPress just announced various new features for their popular WordPress SEO plugin. This includes custom capabilities, dynamic variables for authors, better compatibility for page builders, and more.
- Custom Capabilities
You can now grant or deny access to SEO pages to specific user roles at SEO > Advanced > Security. For instance, you can authorize contributors to edit global SEO titles and metas.
- Dynamic Variables For Authors
They have added quite a few new dynamic variables related to authors which can be used for singular posts, pages, and post types or author archives. This includes
%%_ucf_your_user_meta%%(specific user meta).
- Better Compatibility With Page Builders
SEOPress also improved compatibility with Bricks, Themify (content analysis), Oxygen, Elementor (dark mode), and ACF (content analysis).
- Manual Schema Refactored
Finally, they have refactored the entire system for generating manual schemas. This allows them to quickly add new properties and schemas in the future.
In other news, you can now disable the content analysis metabox by navigating to SEO > Advanced > Advanced. They also fixed duplicated meta robots in the WooCommerce checkout, cart and My Account pages.
SEOPress Pro comes with a very low price tag of just $39 per year for unlimited sites.
