SEOPress Introduces Site Audits To Easily Identify SEO Issues
Benjamin from SEOPress has just announced the release of version 8.2 of their SEO plugin for WordPress, introducing Site Audits, an improved Table of Contents block for Gutenberg and more.
SEO Audits
By popular demand, SEOPress has finally added Site Audits to the Pro version, a central place for all your site’s technical problems related to SEO.
Divided into 13 categories, for each URL listed, the problem is clearly listed with a priority level from low to high, taking into account the other problems of the URL concerned in the same category.
The SEO Audit feature uses the SEOPress “Content Analysis” brick together with the Google Search Console brick. Of course, it’s compatible with all the themes, editors and page builders on the market.
Furthermore, the SEOPress REST API has been updated to take advantage of this new feature.
In the coming months they will be releasing PDF reports, reworking the broken link detection tool to make it more efficient and effective, adding AI features and much more.
Improved TOC Block
In other news, SEOPress has improved its Table of Contents (TOC) block for Gutenberg. The title of the block, usually “Table of Contents”, can now use a p or a div tag.
They have also added notifications of slug changes or post/term deletions directly into the Block Editor for greater convenience. It’s now easier to quickly create a redirect, as the fields are automatically filled in, you just need to review and publish the redirect.
