Shopify Rolls Out Locations To Merchants
At Unite 2018, Shopify announced a new feature that gives Shopify merchants visibility and control over how inventory moves between different locations.

The way merchants get their products and store their inventory, as well as the places they sell from have all evolved. That’s why they are thrilled to announce that Locations has started rolling out to all Shopify merchants. Within the next few weeks, it will be available to everyone.

Merchants selling from multiple locations can now track their inventory and manage orders across all their locations via both simple and intuitive interfaces.
Developers can now also start to implement location-aware functionality into their apps. The Store Pickup + Delivery app, for instance, allows merchants to arrange in-store pick-ups. Customers are able to pick up their order at the closest location with available inventory.
